Roberto Zucco is a play by Bernard-Marie Koltès written in 1988, inspired by real events. It caused a huge scandal at the time, because it was based on real and tragic events. Roberto Zucco, a dangerous criminal, escapes from prison the very evening of his arrest. Then begins a crazy, hectic, breathless run. Sometimes violent, sometimes touching, this flamboyant character will surprise all the protagonists who cross his path. No one will come out unscathed, because this hero, with a sharp lucidity, acts like a revealing mirror which draws those who rub shoulders with him towards an often mortal truth. Picasso and Rodin Museums: Picasso - Rodin

Culture > Exhibition - 11-14 euros

The exhibition invites a cross-reading of the works of Rodin (1840-1917) and Picasso (1881-1973), these two great artists who had a lasting effect on the artistic practices of their time for generations to come. It is not a question of showing what Picasso borrowed from Rodin, but rather of examining the significant convergences that appear between Rodin's work and several periods of Picasso's production. This cross-reading of their works is available in different chapters on the two places, at the Rodin museum on the one hand through the crisis of the representation of the beginning of the 20th century, and at the Picasso museum on the other hand in the creative processes implemented by the two artists. At different times and in different contexts, Rodin and Picasso participate in a decisive articulation of history and this is undoubtedly one of the keys to their similarities. In their own way, they invent a new mode of representation, expressionist in Rodin , cubist at Picasso. For Rodin, as for Picasso, the studio is a privileged space for experimenting with forms and materials. Serial work, fragmentation, assembly, diversion are all unique and innovative approaches. The work of the artist in perpetual motion, explores a motif in constant metamorphosis.
