The sensual teaser of the Chanel show, scheduled for Tuesday, the last day of Paris Fashion Week<

Regularly trodden by Chanel tops during intoxicating fashion shows, the Grand Palais in Paris has long been the scene of stagings by Lagerfeld as grandiose as they are crazy, sometimes futuristic, sometimes nostalgic for the beautiful era.

Tomorrow, the house on rue Cambon is expected on the Champ-de-Mars. While the parade this year will take place under the reinvented nave of the ephemeral Grand Palais – miniature counterpart of the monument of the same name; due to a renovation project partly financed by Chanel - we expect a more sober and refined show.

Although they retain an unflappable mystery around the theme, Dutch photography duo Inez & Vinoodh offers, through a 30-second teaser, the preludes to the fashion show long awaited by fashion lovers.

A refined collection?

Nudity bathed in calm water, cinematic monochromy, the two-C label seems to want to drape the end of 2021 with a touch of philosophy. Staging a Vivienne Rohner with an inquisitive gaze, camera in hand, both in front of and behind the lens, artistic director Virginie Viard could just as well question the ambivalence of the human species as return to the unshakable power of glass lens.
