Rotary club: Sebastian Than inducted by the piscenoise branch<

The members of the Rotary Club of Pézenas met recently to proceed with the enthronement of Sébastian Than.

Originally from Sweden, he has lived in France for many years. He explains: "As a member of the Rotary club in Burgundy, I approached the Piscenoise branch in order to pursue my mission within an organization which claims high civic and professional ethics, which develops programs dedicated to the general interest. in the preferred areas of health, solidarity, sustainable development, education, training and the development of young generations in their environment".

The ceremony took place in a warm, solemn and emotional atmosphere. The president, Jacques Limouzin, after a brief presentation of the Piscénois Rotary club, gave the floor to Pierre Nougaret, the secretary of the Club and godfather of Sébastian Than. Rotary tradition requires that a sponsor introduce his sponsored child. "Sebastian Than, whose human qualities are undeniable, was an investment banker. Fascinated for years by cabinetmaking, he devotes himself to the restoration of antique furniture. Now retired since the beginning of 2021, he is based in Florensac in his workshop. His companion, Isabelle Gagnebin, operates her art embroidery workshop on rue de la Foire in Pézenas. A trainee at the Lesage Paris Establishment, she offers trimmings, haute couture embroidery, very elaborate creations that require hours of work and know-how of excellence".
