You can change your choice at any timeFans of the Kardashian / Jenner clan had to mourn: Kim and Kanye, it's over. Kanye West, who quickly turned the page, has officially entered into a relationship with Julia Fox, 31-year-old American actress and model. Since the beginning of January, the whole world has been witnessing stylistic stagings, each one more pointed than the next.
Currently in Paris to attend Fashion Week (menswear then Haute Couture), the new couple caused a stir in matching looks. In jeans during the Kenzo fashion show, then in leather at Schiaparelli. But what made a lot of talk was the original make-up of Kanye West's new girlfriend. So, real flop or artistic bias?
Sunday, January 23 at the Vivienne gallery (Paris) was the Kenzo fashion show. The opportunity for the brand new couple Kanye West and Julia Fox to make their first public appearance with a matching denim look. But what marked us (and according to social networks, we are not the only ones!) is Julia Fox's super smoky make-up. Some comments weren't going too far: "Seriously? Who did her eye makeup? It looks like it was done by a 4-year-old child!" or "What the hell is that? make-up is supposed to be?". Ouch.
Yesterday at the Petit Palais, revolt during the incredible Schiaparelli fashion show. This time, the couple sported a matching total look in leather, and Julia Fox reiterated on the make-up side. The young woman of 31 years indeed displayed a smoky coal black eyes, stretched to the temples, which once again animated the canvas. As a real pro of social networks, Julia Fox did not miss the opportunity to sow doubt (or to fuel the buzz?) suggesting that Kanye West was at the origin of this so particular eye makeup…
Rest assured, if Kanye West is a multi-faceted artist, he is not yet a make-up artist! In reality, it is the English Pat McGrath who is at the origin of the smoky make-up of Julia Fox.
The star and catwalk makeup artist wanted to create a super graphic and very thick winged eyeliner for a glamorous look, accentuated by Julia Fox's wet look hair. For this, Pat McGrath mainly used three products of his own brand:
An unexpected collaboration, but which has the merit of a lot (a lot!) to make people talk about it! We can't wait to find out what Julia Fox has in store for us for the rest of this Fashion Week!
