Pila Canale: A Prova continues its digital learning mission |Corsica morning<

This appeals, people feel concerned," says Jacques Bartoli, first deputy mayor.

In fact, the information session a week earlier has refueled. This Wednesday afternoon, Andréa Tramoni hosts the session. Some use computers but do not master it and want to improve.Others start completely.

This is the challenge of these workshops: "Awareness of the use of digital tools will improve the quality of life of the elderly, to avoid isolation, to be more autonomous and D'Have the social bond, "explains the host.

She gives each participant an animation guide, a sheet with the recall of the essential points of the session to the front and a space to take notes on the back."We are going to take the time to explain and put into practice," says Andréa Tramoni.

For this second session, the participants become familiar with the supports and assimilate the basic concepts: they view some tutorials then embark on their tablet or on their phone with the very benevolent competition of the host and Jacques Bartoli.

Two hours later, when they separated, they progressed well: "password", "identifier", "personal space" and many other terms are now known and similar.Thereafter, they will learn to do online steps.

These people will meet at PAM next Wednesday at the same time and every Wednesday until December 22.On the program are the following themes: "Use of the tablet for remote workshops";"Stay connected with your family and friends";"Use of the leisure tablet";"How to avoid scams".

Since the establishment of these workshops, last June, A Prova has already intervened in eight Corsican municipalities.

Its animators have formed some 70 people at the rate of nine participants per workshop since the relaxation of health rules. These sessions are open to people over sixty and are free.
