The prefecture of Haute-Garonne took, this Thursday, December 30, a series of measures aimed at stemming the epidemic of Covid-19 on New Year's Eve, in Toulouse and in the department. Access to Place du Capitole will notably be prohibited, the mask will be imposed in the streets of the hypercentre and it will be forbidden to consume alcohol on the public highway.

The prefecture of Haute-Garonne in association with the town hall of Toulouse took, this Thursday, December 30, a certain number of measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 during New Year's Eve. "The health situation continues to be very worrying in Haute-Garonne, in particular due to the presence of the Omicron variant, which is particularly contagious", justifies the prefecture. A first series of measures is applicable throughout the department from Friday December 31 at 6 p.m. to Saturday January ¹ at 11 a.m.
