What to expect from Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022<

While the pandemic may still cause problems around the world, Fashion Week, as always, is back with new menswear for Spring-Summer 2022.

Although most shows are still virtual and run on rambling and sparse official schedules, menswear promises some exciting times. New York has confirmed that designers from the American fashion capital will present their co-ed summer collections in September.

From London to Milan, via Paris and Florence, zoom in on everything not to be missed at Men's Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2022.

London Fashion Week: June 12-14

Like every season, Men's Fashion Week kicks off in London, although the program is mixed and presentations are mostly digital. Over three days, expect presentations that push boundaries and break codes with Bethany Williams, BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner, Ahluwalia, Dilara Findikoglu, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, AV Vattev and Olubiyi Thomas, among others. as well as fashion design graduates from the University of Westminster.

Milan Fashion Week: June 18-22

Milan Fashion Week is back with a bang this season with a hybrid program of digital and physical events. Expect digital storefronts from notable houses such as Prada, Fendi and Ermenegildo Zegna, as well as young brands like Sunnei, MSGM, A-Cold-Wall and Tokyo James. Dolce & Gabbana and Etro will parade live, while Giorgio Armani will present a double show. Finally, let's not forget the long-awaited debut of Glenn Martens at Diesel, with a genderless collection that should close the week in style.

Paris Fashion Week: June 22-27

Even if the final calendar has not yet been unveiled, Paris Men's Fashion Week promises to be rich in key moments, with the shows of Louis Vuitton, Dior Men, Loewe, Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten and Rick Owens , as well as shows from young brands like Wales Bonner, Rhude, Casablanca, Doublet and Arturo Obegero. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode website states that "the formats will be specified when the final calendar is published", so stay tuned.

Pitti Immagine Uomo, Florence: June 30 to July 2

After going digital for two consecutive seasons, the Pitti Uomo returns in physical form to Florence for its 100th edition. The full program has yet to be revealed, but it has been confirmed that South African designer Thebe Magugu will showcase his Spring/Summer 2022 collection at the event, following in the footsteps of his predecessors at Telfar, Sterling Ruby and Craig Green. To ensure security against Covid-19, there will be fewer exhibitors than usual, and all guests and staff will be required to provide proof of their vaccination status.
