It's been more than two weeks since Ridley Scott's feature film, House of Gucci, was released in theaters, and it is clear that the public's enthusiasm is not waning, quite the contrary. On the fashion side, the Gucci style is increasingly popular, and the pieces seen on the big screen too. Christie's also announces that the costumes worn by Lady Gaga and Adam Driver during the filming are part of its new auction, organized to support the ELA association which finances research on leukodystrophies. One thing is certain, whether you are passionate about the Florentine house or a collector of rare pieces, this meeting should please you.

What House of Gucci pieces are available for sale?

During this exceptional auction, the outfits of the actors worn during the scene in Saint-Moritz will be presented. A pivotal moment in the decline of the relationship between Maurizio Gucci and his wife, played by Adam Driver and Lady Gaga respectively. He fled to his family chalet after having had a run-in with the law, enjoying winter sports with old friends, while she joined him later and found it difficult to fit in with this group, including Maurizio's second wife, Paola Franchi (played by Camille Cottin).

A vintage black jacket adorned with gold buttons, a cashmere turtleneck sweater, woolen pants (newly made to measure for the American actress), boots with a gold chain, a belt and vintage jewelry… That's what composes Lady Gaga's wardrobe during this snowy getaway and which will be available at auction for an estimate of between 15,000 and 25,000 euros. As for Adam Driver's pieces, we find a quilted ski suit in white cotton (also redesigned especially for the actor for the film), a turtleneck sweater in cream-colored wool, as well as fawn and brown ankle boots, all for an estimate of between 10,000 and 15,000 euros.

Christie's nevertheless specifies that the costumes of Lady Gaga and Adam Driver will be worn on a few occasions during the promotion of House of Gucci, in particular for the Oscar campaign. The lot will therefore be sent to the buyer at the beginning of 2022, as soon as the promotional tour of the film is over.

The charity sale takes place online at christies.com until Tuesday, December 14.
