0sharesNowadays, Nigerien women are increasingly involved in entrepreneurship to gain their autonomy (financial in particular) but also and above all to contribute to the national economy. Committed and determined, they fight daily to find a place for themselves in a predominantly male sector. This is the case of Salissou Rabia, in her twenties. Holder of a Bac D, currently in a master's degree in pharmaceutical studies, she is the founder of the company called ''Sarah magnétique''.
The idea of creating this company according to Rabia Salissou is that she is passionate about entrepreneurship. “I have always enjoyed being my own boss, leading and learning from life. Very early on, I wanted to be an adult, to do like in the movies, to be independent at the age of 18. It was after obtaining my baccalaureate that I started to practice this profession, ”she said. This is how she did ''small training courses'' in communication (self-training). Apart from that continued Salissou Rabia, "I am in a whole new world where I am trying to adapt, learn and use tools that are neither part of my training nor my field of learning" .
With regard to the products offered for sale by the young lady, these include fine lingerie, costumes, trousers, perfumes and incense, seduction accessories such as: hip beads, game cards and articles of decorations.
Regarding the prices of these products, they are, according to Rabia Salissou, depending on the product. "It's a slice of 500F to 35,000F CFA" she said. And it is through social networks that Salissou Rabia manages to sell its products which are very popular and appreciated by people.
In terms of difficulties, this young entrepreneur emphasizes that the greatest difficulty to face is to stop setting limits, by climbing ever higher and above all by daring. “The ambitions are not lacking, the best thing is to keep your feet firmly on the ground, not to jump from 'cock to donkey'” affirmed Salissou Rabia.
She seizes the opportunity to launch a heartfelt cry to the authorities to raise awareness on social cohesion, tolerance and especially on the empowerment of young people.
