[update: five new images added at the end of the article. And for the sake of anecdote, Negasonic Teenage Warhead's very Atonishing X-Men costume is now described as "the uniform of the new mutants" … Are we to conclude that Ellie Phimister will be at the spin-off casting? Mystery.]
Well, the most abhorrent rumor of the month … Marvel Studios is said to have recovered the rights of Taskmaster (the master of chores in VF, a super-villain instructor with photographic reflexes). Because they didn't have them? First news. It was the director of Deadpool, Tim Miller, who inadvertently started this story (via Empire):
Fox does not own the film rights of Taskmaster … What a scoop! The mercenary with the shield was born in the pages of Avengers # 195 in 1980. Until proven otherwise, it is part of the Avengers package managed by Marvel Studios. Except a site-rumor wrote an article implying that the rights belonged to Fox. And another website bounced that the rights had been returned to Marvel Studios in 2012 (together with those of Daredevil). A hell of a story for a character who was thought to be in the hands of the Maison des idées since … Always!
@ Britaingrates @ ClarkeMicah @ LarcombePeter they seem that way now (in MMXXI AD) but I remember learning how to write … Http: / / t.co / sssZWY7ppI
