How was your brand, La Semaine Paris, born? Gabrielle Caunesil: I've always liked to dress up, to feel elegant and beautiful wearing certain pieces. Fashion is a great way to express yourself and often helps women feel stronger and more confident. Ever since I was little, I've been playing with clothes, creating my own and exploring the creative process. It's always come naturally to me, and I even dreamed up the dress I wore to my wedding after-party last summer. Over time, I felt more like creating my own label, having more and more difficulty finding pieces that matched my style. So I launched La Semaine Paris, orchestrated around capsules where versatile pieces, both daring and a bit retro, become everyday allies, from morning until the end of the night. Feminism has always been one of my main commitments; the women working alongside me in this project all come from different backgrounds, but we are united by the same desire.
