The collection may not have been Haute Couture in the truest sense of the word, but the designer certainly wanted to assert himself in new territory. A new impetus for the brand which reflects the evolution of the designer but also his foundations as an architect.

This collection is adorned with tailor-made suits/skirts, fine and elegant coats and full-length evening dresses adorned with construction on the hip. Women's and Men's clothing mix: “I've always believed in diversity at all levels. Age, sex, orientation,” says Virgil Abloh.
At a time when comfortwear and streetwear are on every trend forecaster's horizon, Abloh is therefore forced to do the opposite. The collection is revealed in ultra-sharp cuts in strict leather, in clinical transparency or through truly luxurious fabrics and formal wear imbued with the gestures of haute couture, some made in materials fused with foam which then create this effect of bending around the body.
After the last Fashion Week made its return to the live format, Virgil Abloh opened the first week of Haute Couture fashion understood by the public since the pandemic, and this, not halfway. After creating Imaginary TV last season – the online platform that the designer imagined to present his collection – Abloh launched Imaginary FM: a series of events broadcast from the new Off-White flagship in Place Vendôme. This was added to the parade with the brilliant performance of MIA and his dancers, who Abloh says embody what he does.
