The actress made this revelation to comedian Pete Davidson during a virtual interview organized by the American site Variety. The 27-year-old said Cruella was his favorite Glenn Close role, and asked the latter if she could keep some of her costumes.

"When the film crews realized how much it all cost, they weren't too happy to see it was part of my contract. They looked to do another version of it, and I said no,” she continued.

A huge collection of costumes

Glenn Close is therefore the proud owner of the clothes and accessories of the cruel Cruella... but not only. The actress explained that she has "a huge collection of costumes" from several films, which is currently at Indiana University.

After Glenn Close in 1996, Emma Stone will play the fur collector. The first images from the film, released in 2019, show the La La Land actress looking unrecognizable with her new punk look, two-tone hair, heavy makeup and leather jacket.

The great villain of the Disney classic is back in a new film, a priori expected for 2021, and which promises a darker and rockier atmosphere than the 1961 cartoon. This feature film, which will tell the story of the youth of Cruella, will take place in late 1970s London. The film, directed by Craig Gillespie, also stars Emma Thompson, Joel Fry and Paul Walter Hauser.
