The whole universe pits on three floors, this is what the latest project of the French brand promises, the Patou Market, which settles for 10 days, from July 4 to 12, in a building in Saint-Germain-des-Prees, in the heart of the Latin quarter.The idea?Highlight the sparkling universe of Patou but not only: indeed, the place, thought of as a summer market, also pays tribute to the friends and accomplices of the house.In addition to the latest collections of the brand, we can discover, among other things, stocks of fabrics and house supplies, owners of old collections or iconic rooms but also unpublished stands for the sale of dried flowers bouquetsDebeaulieu, de La Verrerie delicate La Boufflerie, stocks of vintage magazines from the 0FR bookstore or a sharp selection of Vinyl Disquaire Dizonord.The most skillful of their hands will also be able to register for workshops of vegetable decoration, paint, floral composition, ...
We asked GuillaumeHenry, or the one who woke up Patou (with panache), what were his essentials from the female locker room.

On this occasion, GuillaumeHenry, artistic director of the brand, gave us an exclusive interview.Selected pieces.
How was the desire to create this ephemeral market?GuillaumeHenry: The desire to reconnect with people, to offer them a place that is more than a pop-up, a living space and meetings, a real market for 10 days.
What were your inspirations?.H.: I like the spirit of the festivals of villages, markets and end -of -year fairies.Places where we meet and exchange.Hence the idea of collaborations and workshops.
Emphasis is on vintage, nature and eco-responsibility.How are these values found in the Patou brand?.H.: From the start of the Patou adventure, we found it interesting to have a reflection on the subjects of eco responsibility and transparency.We are not impeccable because above all, fashion must remain the place of desire, of the crush, but we have set up an approach that we call the patou way.We try as much as possible to use recycled materials in our clothes and if there is polyester in our collections, the client will be aware: it is enough for him to scan the QR code of the clothing to have more information on thematerials, or know where the room was manufactured.Our hangers and packaging are made of recycled and recyclable materials, the furniture of our offices is recycled, our dishes has been found, and in addition it gives a soul to our studios.
Why did you choose this address, in the heart of the Latin district?G.H.: This is a magnificent address in the heart of Paris and close to our studios in the Ile de la Cité.A real Parisian postcard with its tourists, neighborhood grannies and legendary terraces, a Paris that I love!
Your favorite objects to find at Patou Market?G.H.: These are all my favorite objects, the idea of this market is to offer a selection of our favorite favorites, as much in the choice of employees as in that of the products offered.Beautiful, good and friendly!
And the most unpublished to discover on site?G.H.: We have created a small production of patou goodies that we will only find in Patou Market, darlings and tote bags made in our stocks of fabrics, patoos: irresistible ephemeral pattou tattoos, Patou plates, ... we will also haveA nail artist who will be on site to make manicures in the colors of Patou to those who wish.And an entire floor will be dedicated to the haberdashery Patou where we will offer the sale of the coupons of our fabric stocks.
